On October 27, 2023, a few weeks after the Nova music festival attack which launched Israel’s full-scale genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, a group of artists and cultural workers signed and issued a public letter. The letter started with explaining the context behind these events, that “[f]or over 75 years, the Palestinian people have been subject to a violent and racist occupation by Israel.”
